Hi, According to the Bible, the penality for sin is death.Therefore, every human being must die! Did God make an exception for Elijah to escape death? Your comments, please. With Love in Christ. |

2 | Searching for the truth | 1 Thess 4:17 | EdB | 89900 | ||
FytRobert I see some are offering their spiritual 2 cents and not to be mean but perfectly honest that 2 cents their throwing around is the only thing keeping them from spiritual bankruptcy. We are physical people and when God says anything we as physical people try to turn it into a physical type meaning. God said before the fall if man eat from the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil in that day he would die. Well we all know both Adam and Eve ate of the tree and lived past that day. However they did die spiritually that day. That day they were separated from God. Therefore God was talking about Spiritual death not Physical death. God also said he had to put Adam and Eve out of the garden before they ate of the tree of life and lived forever. Therefore the thing that caused physical death for Adam and Eve was their lack of access to the tree of life. Many reference Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, and they claim this says man must die. That is simply no what it is saying. It is saying there is no such thing as reincarnation, man only dies once and then faces judgement. We know Enoch and Elijah didn’t die we know all those that are alive in the rapture aren’t going to die and also when Jesus returns the Saint that are alive then aren’t going to die. EdB |

EdB: Your answer was perfect! I applaud you forthright and direct answer. I think that the 2 cent remark gave too much credit to anyone believing that we go to hell after death to a place of holding. Talk about mix mauch theology, that raks right up with WOF. Thank you for confrontin error with truth! Blessings to you Ed! justme |
