Very interesting. But what about Moses, whos contenance was such that no one could look on him, and he literally had to cover his face after his visit with the Lord. And then there is Jacob, who "wrestled with the Lord. There was someone else who said, " I have seen thy face and lived. It is only icing on top of the cake. Brothers with differing opinions are still brothers. George |

well Moses did not see his face. Exodus 33: 20-23 "But," he said, "you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live." 21 Then the LORD said, "There is a place near me where you may stand on a rock. When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by. Then I will remove my hand and you will see my back; but my face must not be seen." the explination for Jacob, could be that it was Jesus. But yes you are right, although we may dissagree on these issues we are still brothers in Christ. May God bless you, and provide you with the knowledge that only he may give. |
