No there is an alotted time man is given. There is a certain number of years that is promised to man. And you are wrong. Natural causes. Sis. Grace a lady in my church died at 98 years of age. And she didn't die from a disease. She just went to sleep. And you could feel the peace of God so strong in her room. When we went to pray for her as we knew the time was getting close she wasn't sick or anything she said "Don't pray that God keeps me here. Pray that He takes me because I am ready to go home." And the light in her face and the light in her eyes was amazing. We don't have to die of a disease. That is a lie from the pit of hell. And your imaginary world that the devil has you trapped in needs shaken. Where does it ever say in the bible that someone they prayed for was not healed? This is a valid question I want scripture. And it is a lack of faith. I hate to be the one to tell you but we here in America don't have a need for faith. We have even lost the concept of the word. We dont have to have faith to put gas in the car cause we have jobs, we don't have to have faith to put food on the table, because there is food stamps. We don't have to worry about the close on our back because if all else fails there are hand- me- downs. AMERICA HAS NO REASON TO HAVE FAITH. I once heard a man that lives in Etheopia say "My cross to carry was persecution your cross in America is Prosperity, I can carry my cross can you carry yours?" And he is so right. We have no reason to have faith. Well the buck stops here. I believe EVERY WORD of the bible and JESUS said these signs will follow them that believe they will lay hands on THE SICK and THEY SHALL RECOVER. Not they will lay hands on some people and they might recover. NO!!! My JESUS HEALS..... I don't know who you are serving. |

Punkiedo: Let me give you a slice of the real world and hope that you can fit it into your rose-colored-glasses world of theological make-believe. Some 15 years ago my youngest son was killed in an automobile wreck at the hands of a drunk driver. He was two years your junior, a fine, healthy young man of 21, a junior in college majoring in accounting. He was a Christian. Was his death occasioned by his lack of faith, by mine, by his mother's? Was it God's will that he die? Was he somehow short changed in his "allotted time" as you put it? ..... You tell EdB "MY JESUS HEALS." Even though David (my son) sustained massive injuries as the result of the accident, why didn't HIS Jesus heal him instead of letting him die? Or do you suppose his Jesus and your Jesus are two separate persons? How many Jesuses are there anyway? As I said in my former post to you, Punkiedo, you have much yet to learn. Nothing marks immaturity any more than the cocky belief that one has all the answers. --Hank | ||||||

Hank, I am sorry to hear about your son it sounds like you are a little bitter. It is still God's will to heal regardless. You should hear Thurman Shrivner's testamony. His grandaughter was in a car accident. Her brain was disconnect from her eyes and brainstem and her skull was crushed. you can see the full testamony at http://www.sidroth.org/radio.htm then click on 2003 Archives scroll down and the 5th story down is Thurman Schrivner's story. He could have accepted that she was sick and would not make it or he could have prayed the word and Commanded her body to be healed. And that is what he did. It is an awesome story, in fact most of the stories on this website are awesome. God's will is to heal, I'm sorry you don't believe. |

It is idiotic, presumptuous and unfeeling to accuse Hank of being bitter and of not believing. Posting to the forum is not a right; it is a privilege. To abuse it is to lose it. |
