Subject: Are new worship songs scripturally OK? |
Bible Note: Searcher said: "Worship as defined by the Lord is getting our knees and faces on the ground before God, who has absolute rule over us." That's ONE way to worship. But not the only way. Much of Exudus explains to us what is pleasing to The Lord. I'm rather fond of the incense described in Exudus 30 and burn it often in my home in praise to The Lord. Exodus 33:10 all the people would arise and worship Exodus 34:8 bow low toward the earth and worship. Samuel 1:3 Now this man would go up from his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice to the LORD Chronicles 29:28 While the whole assembly worshiped, the singers also sang and the trumpets sounded; all this continued until the burnt offering was finished. Nehemia 8:6 Then Ezra blessed the LORD the great God. And all the people answered, ""Amen, Amen!'' while lifting up their hands; then they bowed low and worshiped the LORD with their faces to the ground. |
