Subject: WHO pays the wage? |
Bible Note: Hi, Mommapbs! It is easy to give you a yes--which you will easily refute if it is not the answer you require! It is easy to give you a no--which you will cheerfully support if it is the answer you require! Rather, let me offer you a Scriptural passage: The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. (Galatians 5:19-21) True, you can twist this around and claim that Pauls is speaking on guaranteed salvation regarless of the constant life of sin that "the saved" commit themselves to perpetrate or you can claim that during this particular occasion Paul was really speaking to atheist and the unitiated... but if you open your heart, mind and spirit to Christ's Holy Spirit we will be able to understand that Paul is not saying this as news or a variation of a Gospel... Paul is reiterating that those who choose to serve the flesh WILL NOT enter into the Kingdom of Heaven! God Bless! Angel |
