Bible Note: Greetings Survivor! You call us angry my friend, but you respond to my declaration of love for you with insults! :-) Let me see if I understand your position correctly. Are you saying that those who do not even know Greek or Hebrew are better qualified to translate Scripture than those who do know them? This is the heart of the issue my friend. The NWT refuses to announce either who or the qualifications of those who 'translated' the NWT. Why? My quess is that they simply are not qualified to translate anything. I certainly am not saying that one must be a Greek scholar to love the Lord. But, if one is going to proclaim that one is qualified to translate from Greek into English, one should at least know the language. ;-) My friend, you also wrote: "Yes, I am a minister of the Most High God, Jehovah." Yet, you deny the very words of Jehovah my friend. How can Jesus be 'a god' when Jehovah says that there is no other god besides Him? Is. 43:10 - "'You are my witnesses,' declares the LORD, 'and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me.'" How can Jesus be 'a god' when Jehovah Himself says that there are no other gods, neither before nor after. Yet, the JW's teach that Jehovah created Jesus as 'a god'. Who is right my friend - the JW's or Jehovah? Finally, you wrote: "Knowledge puffs up but love builds up. I've heard a lot of mock humility on this Forum, but little actual. "Your brother in Christ," "Speaking the truth in love." Come on! Who really is your brother? How can it be me when we don't have the same Father?" I consider everyone my brother my friend. That doesn't mean that I agree with your doctrine though! ;-) Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
