Subject: Rowdy, Rowdy, are you sure? |
Bible Note: Doc Fine then it is closed. However you did raise some issues that I would like to address. You did ask a question, what was the Holy Spirit communicating to me about all this? I too am Holy Spirit lead and I believe my every step is ordered of the Lord. Therefore everything I have said to you on this subject I believe the Holy Spirit has had a major role in formulating. I suspect there were places that I overrode His leading but I can assure you had the Holy Spirit’s presence not been with me I would told you what I thought of your remarks, you character and you behavior in much stronger terms. As far as turning the other cheek I feel as if my head is spinning. I have had to do it so often in the last few days. As for you psychoanalysis of me being wounded by someone from the Reformed perspective. Let me say your off base and I personally don’t believe you were lead to say that by anything other than your desire to demean me. Reformation history is fascinating to me and has been a major focus in my study for over 15 years. However one thing I do find totally objectionable is those that try pass Calvinist theology off as the Reformation theology. Many theologies emerged from the reformation and Calvinism happens to be only one of them. In any case I have forgiven you. I accept you apology and your retraction of the slanderous statements and I ask you forgiveness for anything I may have done or said that was not of God. Let us close this issue. EdB |
