Bible Note: Greetings Jo - I will pray for you and your friends(s). Have you read "Share Jesus Without Fear" by William Fay?(There is also a video series on this)Go to Amazon and read the commentary. See if this might be helpful to you. One of the very best things I learned from this was the simple fact that no one leads another person to Christ - it is wholly the work of the Holy Spirit. If HE is not at work in the life of an unsaved person, don't attempt to "share Jesus" with him/her. When someone tries to take his/her life, it is usually the result of hopeleness or despair. Perhaps you are being called to be a beacon, pointing the way to the safe port in the storm. Let the light of Christ shine in your life with unconditional love and compassion for this hurting soul. God will accomplish HIS purpose both your lives. Blessings and prayers, mommapbs PS - Forget about the "freshman 15" stay in God's Word; you'll "starve" without it! |
