Subject: Did Jesus die spiritually? |
Bible Note: Isaiah 53:9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, nither was any deceit in his mouth. 1 Peter 2:21,22 leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth. I feel that Jesus died physically, not spiritually. You see He conqoured death hell and the grave and it took the spirit of God to do this. HE died physically because he took on the flesh of a natural man, but He was still the son of the living God, and it took the spirit of God to quicken the the body of Jesus, and since he is apart of the trinty HE was the spirit, or word made flesh. Which is an example for us. we must be filled with the spirit of God in order to rise to eternal life, and this is what I strive for daily to God be the glory. You see one day we will die that physical death, but if we have the spirit of God in our life and has lived true to his word we too shall live again, this is the promis of the Father. |
