AMPLIFIED 2015 | 2 Corinthians 5:21 He made Christ who knew no sin to [judicially] be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God [that is, we would be made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him by His gracious lovingkindness]. |
Bible Question (short): HOW did He take our sin upon Himself? |
Question (full): I understand that Jesus took our sins upon Himself and paid the price to redeem us. What I do not understand, is HOW those sins were taken up by Him, HOW those sins were crucified with Him, and HOW He was made sin in our place. I don't expect that scripture explains the details of this mystery, but I am interested to know how to explain this, according to Peter's instruction to be prepared to explain the faith I have within me. Thanks for your insights. Parable |
