AMPLIFIED 2015 | 2 Corinthians 5:21 He made Christ who knew no sin to [judicially] be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God [that is, we would be made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him by His gracious lovingkindness]. |
Subject: why is sacrifice the means to salvation? |
Bible Note: Parable, Sorry that my response didn't answer your question. Since God is the only Being who can absolve a person of their sins, I would have thought that His words, declaring that there can be no remission of sin, without the shedding of blood, would be enough. You may be familiar with the saying, "God said it, I believe it and that settles it!" Perfect understanding of the "whys" of Gods ways is a noble endeavor. However, we mustn't forget that God's ways are higher than our ways, as are His thoughts. I pray that you get the answer that you're seeking. Peace, prazn |
