Bible Note: Greetings Pcdarcan! I'll let the readers of the thread decide for themselves who needs to re-evaluate their my friend! :-) You claim that Satan is the 'god of this world', even though 2 Cor. 4:4 does not identify Satan at all in the text. Yet, you claim that I am mistaken for claiming that there are no other gods but Jehovah even though many verses expilicitly make that statement(Is. 43:10 for one). How can I debate that kind of logic? :-( 'No other god' really means 'some other gods'! Satan isn't named, but he should have been! Finally, for the sake you the readers, you said: "(for new readers: besides God there is no other Savior, certainly not a god made of wood by man's hands.)" But, that is not what Is. 43:10 says. "'You are my witnesses,' declares the LORD, 'and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me.'" Yet, the JW's would have us to believe that Jesus is 'a god' created by Jehovah. What does this verse say? 'No god formed before me, nor will there be one after me'!!! What is so difficult to understand about this verse? Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
