Subject: One God, One Jesus Christ |
Bible Note: Hi pcdarcan, 2 Corinthians 4:4 talks of Satan as being "the god of this world" and I would not argue with you about that. But why would we want to put the Christ in the same light and call (h)Him a god? Why would you want to see Satan and Jesus in the same light, and call them both "gods". What we want to gain from the verse is that Christ is to be seen in the light of the gospel. We should see the glory of Christ who is the image of God. 2 Corinthians 4:6, "For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ." The only begotten Son [God] is not a god. From the heart, Ray |
