Subject: IS TONGUES FOR TODAY? |
Bible Note: HamsteRulz Absolutely the Holy Spirit is part of the trinity. How else do you explain Jesus being baptised and the Holy Spirit decending as a dove and the Father saying this is my Son. If you can't see three what can I say. Your right also upon salvation we do recieve the Holy Spirit or Comforter as Jesus promised. However not everyone talks in tongues. In fact some never do. We only talk in tongues when we yield our will to the Holy Spirits and allow Him to speak through us. If we never yield He won't talk but that doesn't mean the person is not saved. Or are you adding another requirement to salvation? That we must talk with tongues to be saved. EdB |
