Bible Note: inmyheart, Acts 19:2-6 is a unique situation. Go to Acts 10:46 ... the context shows those who were speaking in tongues and praising God were just listening. In neither case, not in Acts 2:3ff, was faith mentioned. Moreover, in Romans 12:10 and the context, not everyone will be given the gift of tongues. Back to Acts 10:46 ... this shows that going forward does not save, a "sinners prayer" nor does baptism. Searcher |
