AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Corinthians 14:5 Now I wish that all of you spoke in unknown tongues, but even more [I wish] that you would prophesy. The one who prophesies is greater [and more useful] than the one who speaks in tongues, unless he translates or explains [what he says], so that the church may be edified [instructed, improved, strengthened]. |
Subject: IS TONGUES FOR TODAY? |
Bible Note: I'm not sure why I said Hebrew cause I got the word from the Greek New Testament. I meant to say Greek but I guess I accidently said Hebrew. Now, I'm not sure what you were trying to get at with your post, Kalos, but I ask you ... how do you explain that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit were present before the New Testament times rolled around? And I want to see Scripture not no mumbo jumbo from Strong or any other different references. I want Scripture. You can include the references later. |
