Bible Note: Dear Hank, How would you feel if I told a newcomer: "welcome to the Forum brother! I strongly suggest (sounds a bit intimidating)that you use the search feature and type in Rapture. The reasoning behind my suggestion is this: The debates on the rapture have been and, very unforunately for the general good of this forum, continue to be hashed and rehashed over and over to the point of becoming ridiculously repetitive and hence unproductive. Debates on the so-called "dispensations" of Dispensationalists have waged for centuries among seasoned and learned theologians (which implies) we are not wise enough) and have for the most part failed to be resolved. There is no reason to believe that we of the forum, most of whom could not meet the criteria to be called seasoned and learned theologians,(does the Holy Spirit enlighten PHds only) will be able to effect any meaningful consensus either. --John I think you should apologize or at least explain to our newcomer that you are representing your own personal opinion. If you answered my first post that way, I would have thought I was speaking to Mr.Lockman! |
