Bible Question: Does anyone here think that God can call out and talk to anyone in these days? I do. Anyone else? |
Bible Answer: It depends on exactly what you mean. God speaks to His own through His Word by the power of the Holy Spirit. Scripture tells us that man lives by every word of God (Mathew 4:4). So it is not likely that God has spoken with the same authority of scripture since the passing of the Apostles. The early church fathers believed that and this has been the orthodox position ever since.
