Bible Question:
But, does He still talk to us as He did in the past ... even in the past He spoke only to the fathers in the prophets and then in many portions and in many ways (Heb 1:1)? Heb 1:2 in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world |
Bible Answer: in today's context, since we already have the Bible - God can speak directly to us through the Bible. It is the inspired word of God (2 Tim 3:16) and if God wants to speak to us something, it will be very consistent, and this is the experience that I have since becoming a Christian some 20 years back. Also God can speak to us through the preaching (Rom. 10:17). It will be a rewarding experience as we seek God through His word (the Bible). |
