Bible Note: Hi Makarios, Thank you for the Scripture references in your last paragraph. It speaks to the light of His word. Isaiah 55:11, "So shall My/ word be which goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what (I) desire." 1Peter 1:25, "'But the word of the Lord/ abides forever.' And this is the word which was preached to you." 1Peter 2:9, "But you are a CHOSEN RACE, A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR GOD'S OWN POSSESSION, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; for you once were NOT A PEOPLE, but now you are THE PEOPLE OF (GOD); you had NOT RECEIVED MERCY, but now you have RECEIVED MERCY." Acts 26:23, "that the Christ/ was to suffer, and that by reason of His resurrection from the dead He should be the first to proclaim light both to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles." Acts 1:4, "And gathering them together, He/ commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for the *promise of the Father, "Which," He said, "you heard of from (Me); for John baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the *holy *spirit not many days from now." God gives us light in His word and He was the first to proclaim His marvelous light. We have to go forth in a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. And with the hope of His calling and His inheritance in the saints. Ephesians 1:18. From the heart, Ray |
