Subject: Isn't believing Christ for salvation suf |
Bible Note: 2 Pet 1:4 "For by these He has granted to US His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you May BECOME partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust " Why don't read this real carefully. #1. Who's us? The 'just saved' who don't follow Christ as Lord, who are still wrapped in "self" or those who have abandoned their "self's" or are learning how to abandon their "selfs" to Christ? #2 What does "you MAY BECOME mean if it doesn't mean a future happening that is to begin happening NOW? That's what His precious promises are all about. It is a 'now' issue by having your senses perfected in HIM by the power of the Hol;y SPirit to function that He gave us on the day of Pentecost. Hmmmmm?...this is a very elementary teaching of Jesus Christ. |
