Subject: Isn't believing Christ for salvation suf |
Bible Note: Greetings George! I have actually translated the entire letter to the Romans. So, I am slightly familiar with with it says! ;-) This kind of response seems to be coming more and more frequently on the forum over the last few weeks. When one can't explain their position, or Scripture totally teaches something other than their position, the question raised is simply blown off. Acts 16:31 is quite clear in and of itself. In response to a direct question about how one could be saved, Paul responded 'believe and you will be saved'. He didn't say 'believe and do a whole bunch of other things and you might be saved'! Was Paul mistaken in his response? Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
