Bible Note: I don't think Paul was mistaken at all, I just think your only taking one verse and applying that to salvation. You said you were pretty familiar about Romans, so I am suprised you over looked it in this note. Rom 6 talks about being baptized into Christ death and putting to death the old man. Paul calls faith a work 1 Thess. 1:3. Look up every verse with saved in it in the New Testament and you will have a different opinion about salvation.
