Bible Note: "There is a distinct difference between being indwelt by the Holy Spirit and possessing a divine nature as you call it. Perhaps if you were to explain the term and explain what effect having a "divine nature" has, may help." But there is no difference. Jesus had a divine nature that is given to us because He is given to us. Jesus, His divine nature/Spirit of Truth and that which is given us, is one in the same. Jn14.16-18 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever-the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him.
