Bible Question (short): Please explain |
Question (full): Romans 12:2 says that the will of God is "good, and acceptable, and perfect". It was the will of the Father for Jesus to live the life He lived. Jesus said that he did not speak His Own words, but only what the Father gave Him. I am curious as to what prompted your reasoning here. Your knowledge of the scriptures includes, I'm sure, that Christ had to keep the law for our sakes because of our inabaility to do so. It was the Father's plan for Him (Jesus) to live the life He lived. When you say "go straight to the cross", are you inplying that as an infant, Christ could have suffered and died, or are you saying that He didn't even need to be born? What are you saying? |
