Bible Question:
A question for the false teachers of the," health and wealth doctrine", where in the scriptures is it written that you have to have a great amount of faith to receive or to believe in the healing power of GOD? (for reference see #90497) Our Lord Jesus tells us in Holy Scripture that even an amount the size of a mustard seed can move mountains, surely its not the amount of faith you have but WHO you have faith IN i.e. JESUS. P.S. If YOU are in agreement with me then please do NOT ADD NOTES OR ANSWER THIS QUESTION and we will see how long it stays unswered. |
Bible Answer: Hello RJJ, "A question for the false teachers of the," health and wealth doctrine", where in the scriptures is it written that you have to have a great amount of faith to receive or to believe in the healing power of GOD? (for reference see #90497)" It isn't written that you have to have great faith...but it is written that faith is necessary for healing. And it is als written that faith grows through in spiritual entrance of God's Word. Only the Holy Spirit can teach our spirit Truth. Romans 10:16-1816 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. 18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world. Faith can grow... Matthew 6:30, Matthew 8:26, Matthew 14:31 to name a few scripturese where Jesus admonished them for little faith. Then in Matthew 8:9-11 He praises great faith and in other verses as well. Faith grows with the Word and the mentoring of the Holy Spirit. Faith is NOT mental assent to what scripture says..Faith BELIEVES what scripture says and acts accordingly. Now whether that faith is believing Jesus died and was raised for our sins and that if we repent and receive Him we will be saved, one RECEIVES the new birth...likewise all of the other promises... The truth you are attacking you yourself have experienced if you are born again... the difference in you and those you are attacking is not the TRUTH of the necessity of faith to receive God's promises, but rather what those promises are... God bless |
