Bible Note: Ed, I have not been following this thead closely, so I hope I am not off track here. But, do you think that in Psalm 22, which is obvioulsy prophetic, the reference to being a worm could refer to how the one suffering and being put to shame is viewed by those tormenting him, as if he is saying, "I am a worm in the eyes of those who see me"? Just a thought. This verse from Hebrews came to my mind when I saw your post. Heb 12:2 "fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
