Subject: A FALSE TEACHING? Yes / No |
Bible Note: Graceful You said, "Darci, Where did you hear this? WOF teaches the only criteria for salvation is repentance and confession of the Lord Jesus Christ as saviour. Kenneth Copeland statement of Faith(copied from their web site) We believe in one God-Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Creator of all things." Looks good except their Jesus is another Jesus, their Jesus was tormented in hell. Their God is another God not the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob but rather one that has to do the bidding of the anyone that has faith, that lost control of the earth and had to sneak His son past Satan to regain control. Their Holy Spirit is not the Holy Spirit of the Bible but one that is described as being a force or power rather than a personage. So yes they claim Father Son and Holy Spirit but by their definitions they are different entities than what traditional Christianity holds on to. Like someone said the statement of faith of the Mormon church says they beleive Jesus is the son of God they just don't mention they also beleive he is the brother of Satan. Or that God is Eliohim a man that lived a good life on anohter planet and was rewarded by being given the earth. See they are not talking about Jesus the only begotten Son of God just as Copeland and so many others in the WOF are not talking about Jesus the Son of God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, or the Holy Spirit. They have invented different diety only they call them the same name. EdB |
