Subject: A FALSE TEACHING? Yes / No |
Bible Note: I should clarify my sentence: I said originally "God is sovereign and can and will DO ANYTHING that he pleases regardless of our actions. We cannot control Him (however Biblical our desires may be) through any type of "personal faith development" (ie formulas)." What I meant by this was that often times we may think with all of hearts that what we desire (whatever it may be) is God's will for us. However, it may NOT BE God's will for us and no amount of faith will move him if it is not His will. I am in whole hearted agreement with you that God does not contradict himself. Yes - GOD IS FAITHFUL! He does not break his promises. I am sorry if I somehow conveyed the message that I believe otherwise. -Figgy |
