Subject: A FALSE TEACHING? Yes / No |
Bible Note: Graceful They go to the Lake of Fire along with Satan, and Satan won't be torturing anyone there as he is there being punished himself. They certainly don't do to hell to be tortured by Satan, since Satan ain't in hell. Scripture tells us Satan goes to and fro seeking those to devour. He also in heaven as the accuser of the Saints and he is on earth as a roaring lion. No where in scripture does it tell us Satan is the master of hell, that he tortures anyone there, or that he even visits the place. Can’t you see how silly that teaching is? It has absolutely no Biblical support other than saying Jesus went to Hades which is translated hell. And the fact many mistakenly associate hell and the Lake of Fire as the final reward of sinners. Once again Hades in the holding place for the dead awaiting judgement. It contains two chambers separated with a wide gulf. One side is a hot dry place and is where the unrighteous are. The other side in vacant but before Christ’s death it was occupied by the righteous awaiting the Christ. They are now in Heaven with the Son of Man. EdB |
