Subject: A FALSE TEACHING? Yes / No |
Bible Note: Note: Worm Strong's 8438 crimson, scarlet, worm Thats a far stretch because you have to put the verse in its context. My pastor says this all the time to get 20/20 vision (Perfect vision) on a verse read 20 verses before and 20 verses after. Also I know the sins were cast on Jesus on the cross. But that sin never ever had any power over Him nor did Satan. If worm did mean "sin" which I believe it is steetching it a bit it wouldn't matter because we know swin was cast ON Jesus. But My arguement is this Sin had NO power over him nor did Satan. You show me one verse in the Bible that shows otherwise. Acts 2 Remember Hades had to sides to it. Had the torment side and paridise (Luke 16:19-31) side which Jesus went to the paradise side. He did not go to the torment side and suffered at the hands of satan and his demons. What you are doing by making that claim is saying Satan had power over God! Which means he got his wish: Isaiah 14:12 How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who have weakened the nations! "But you said in your heart, 'I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, And I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north. 'I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.' Jesus went to hades to set the captive free (Eph 4:8) He also went to preach (1 pet. 3:19) I believe to the fall angels of noah's day although it can be debated because its a theological thing. I believe He was claiming victory to them. |
