Hello nimrod2 Let me chime in as one following the discussion. The difficulty appears to have come when you made the following statement: "Here we clearly see the land being subject to a year long Sabbath day" (Mon 04/15/02, 12:46pm). If you had stated "a year long Sabbath", not using the word "day", I don't think there would have been much of a problem. Steve |

Greetings Steve! Thank you for your support, and I most certainly agree. The problem is with the perception of "days" and "years", and stating a "year long Sabbath day" instead of a "year long Sabbath." I however, believe that exchanging days and years and making them interchangable (based on the logic that a "Sabbath" can be longer than a day), is a misapplication of Scripture.
