Servant7, thanks for the hint about Paul's teacher, the one found in Acts whose name begins with a "G". It was kind of you to suggest that I need to do a little more study; I couldn't agree more. However, in the case of Paul's mentor, I have known about Gamaliel for 50 years. but never have heard of Paul receiving from him or from anyone else the equivalent of a Ph.D. Now, let's be frank and honest with each other: I made no attempt, nor would I ever, to "kick mud on a brother" as you imply. Am I "kicking mud" when I question an assertion that has no real scriptural basis? You, too, have my love in Christ Jesus, Servant7. --Hank | ||||||

Greetings, Hank! In all of my time that I have spent here on this Forum, never have I read or even been inclined to think that you would ever "kick mud" on anyone! You have been compassionate, kind, humble, accurate, filled with truth, and a great example for all of us fellow brothers and sisters in Christ! In all honesty, I see you as having a great amount of wisdom, being more 'seasoned' and having more experience than some of us, and I have nothing but respect for you, my friend! You have yet to make a post that would lead me to believe that you have 'kicked mud' on anyone, and I agree with everything that you have written in this thread. Your Brother in Christ, Makarios! |
