Subject: The Sons of God in Genesis 6:1-4 |
Bible Note: Love Fountain, I come not to debate either side of the issue, but to observe: In these passages in Job the NIV translates "angels" while "sons of God" is the translation of the NASB, KJV, NKJV, and the English Standard Version -- all of which are more literal translations than the NIV. What does the Hebrew then say: angels or sons of God? And which version is being interpretive in this passage and which literally accurate? I don't see the NIV as being the standard by which all other versions should be judged. Do you? --Hank |
