Subject: The Sons of God in Genesis 6:1-4 |
Bible Note: Tuli, I agree in principle at least with your post. Faith and empirical proof don't always make good yokefellows. When we accept by faith that God is sovereign and that the Bible is his inerrant revealed word, we have no wiggle room left in which to question whether the Bible intrinsically makes sense. It does. If any part of it doesn't seem to make sense to us, we may be assured that we have a good deal of room left for growth. When one hears statements to the effect that the Bible makes little if any sense, the indictment clearly must go to him who, whether in ignorance or arrogance, says anything of the kind, not to the Bible. 'Tis a pity that so many who know so little insist on saying so much. --Hank |
