Subject: The Sons of God in Genesis 6:1-4 |
Bible Note: Jesusman, That was a very interesting point of view. I have a few thought we could consider. First, if the giants were any normal race, why did God insist on destroying them? These were not any common humans since you have Num 13:33 the description, I highly doubt it was an exaggeration, considering the description of Goliath and also look at Deut 3:11. These men were massive. Now to bring in the whole science thing always disappoints me. We are Believers, not provers in a sense. Do you doubt? Any rate, for arguments' sake do you have any idea why you don't find many fossils in the desert? I figure the conditions are not condusive for preservation. Please do not even try to think of giants as inhuman, they are called men! Now your view on Job dumbfounds me! God is talking to MEN about another man? And Satan happens to be there and asks to mess with Job? How come Job, the most righteous of his time wasn't there? I believe only select individuals in the scripture ever have such intimacy with God, never a big group. By the way, at the time of Job, God did not have a people as such, only seems to have dealt with individuals [Acts 14.16] What do you think about Job 38:7? I will stop here for now. I surely njoy this discussion. The Lord Bless you. |
