LisaMarie, Proskuneo (Strong's 4352) is the Greek word for worship. It is not the same as giving glory (doxa), tho giving glory to Him can be related to worship. We have changed the definition of worship, as well as love, the church, gentleman ... and maybe we will change what salvation means, so we think more will be saved. S |

Mmmm, what are you telling me here? Do you believe, by literal definition of their word for Worship, that Greek Christians are less loved by God than Hebrew Christians? We have not changed the definition of worship. We have cultural differences. God loves cultural differences or he would not have created us all in so many shapes and colors. The Human Rainbow. If we didn't worship the Lord, we wouldn't sing his praise. I don't think we can change the meaning of the word salvation. I don't think anyone would try. However, it does seem that as more and more people fall away from Christianity the ways of being saved become diluted in an attemt to draw people back to God. Something tells me Jesus is not happy about that. |
