Steve (Searcher): Friend and brother, we've been through this worship topic, I'm aware, more times than a circus dog jumps through a hoop, but let's take one more short trip around the mulberry bush, o.k.? Now, I've never been very high on ritual, and that includes getting my body in a certain contortion before I worship God. I'm not a young sprout anymore, and it takes more and more time for my knees to heal when I kneel, and I experience agonizng frustration when I attempt prostration...... But I can kneel before Almighty God with my will, my heart, my mind. I can prostrate my spirit before the King of Kings. I can still do that. And, after all, which is the more important act of worship -- to worship God with the body bent hopelessly out of shape, or to worship Him in spirit and in truth? --Hank | ||||||
