AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Corinthians 1:10 ¶ But I urge you, believers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you be in full agreement in what you say, and that there be no divisions or factions among you, but that you be perfectly united in your way of thinking and in your judgment [about matters of the faith]. |

Bible Note: "If one applies a doctrine to God that has Him this way and another applies a doctrine to God that has Him another way. Then they must be talking about two different God's. Then they either have one worshipping the true God and the other a made up god or they are both wrong and both are worshipping a false god. They both can't be worshipping the same God." Your statement only re-inforces the necessity of sound doctrines! Whose doctrine is more reflective of the truth, is determined by the examination Scripture. It is true that we are biased by our traditions and pre-suppositions and that these are at times a hindrance to the discovery of the truth. But as I said in a previous post, God may pop our theological pre-suppositions when we least suspect it. In the final analysis, we are entirely dependent upon Him to reveal the truth to us. In the meantime let's not throw out the baby wuth the bath water. :-) John |
