Bible Note: Pete2 I agree. But your last couple of posts left a completely different understanding than what your saying now. Let me also add where they came from was a pagan religion with many gods that allowed most anything, most lived in servitude (read slavery) to the rich among them. Therefore Islam with it near communistic approach (take from the rich and give to the poor) appealed to them. It also coincided with their view of life in general. If something bad happened it was punishment if something good happened it reward, if it couldn’t be explained it was Kismet. We see this general attitude infiltrating the Christian church here in American with the health, wealth and prosperity gospel. EdB |
