Bible Question:
That is a fair question. I can not do that. I have merely heard the matter discussed. These matters have been repeated so many times, I do not doubt them. In addition to that, the news does not supply information to the contrary. Can you document anything to the contrary? Actually, back to the main reason I came here was to try to understand why Christians do not participate in the culture war. I would prefer you to address that. |
Bible Answer: I doubt what you said is true, but cannot prove it. Because, I do not know the Koran very well, nor the tenants of the Muslim faith. It is important to verify what you hear or read is true. Something could have repeated by a well known/ respected person ... and more could believe it is true. Example - (this is bait) - Jesus died on Friday. Now to culture war ... We need to make adjustments to the culture we are in (1 Cor 9:19-23) ... we cannot force our culture on them. Moreover, we need to make adjustemts how we present the Gospel. Example, Christ as "The Lamb" has no meaning for the Eskimo (and others), so missionaries need to figure out what fits. |
