Bible Question: You spoke very well. Better than I ever could. It is my belief that a strong civilization is sewn together by its commone thread, morality. Morality is an agreement on behavior. Moslem nations do not thrive and never will, they can't. Their morality does not work... Never has.... Never will. The only hope for that part of the world is apathy. Maybe we should ship them some of ours. |
Bible Answer: Peter2 Again not to defend Islam but in the interest of fairness. Islam is not without morals. In fact they view as having weaker morals than they. For instance you will not find night clubs and red light districts is a strong Muslim city. We had to get special permission to allow our soldiers to have beer in Kuwait as the nation is dry. Some islamic nations have a higher literacy rate than we have and many offer their residents free medical care and nearly total social security. Divorce rates are many times lower in some Islamic countries than they are between. That is not to say Islam is a good religion, it isn't, it is totally false, but to generalize and say it is without morals is also wrong. EdB |
