Bible Question:
Where is the focus? I am very concerned over all the negativity in this forum. There is alot of attacking on and another, which by the way is just what Satan wants, I believe that the Word of God is TRUTH from Genesis to Revelatoin. I would like to encourage everyone to look at ways to lift up and edify each other. That does not mean ther can't be open discussions about what the word says, that is one of the ways we learn, but not attacking each other because of what or how they believe. In Acts 14: 22 "strengthening the disciples and ecourageing them to remain true the faith." "We must go through many hardships to enter the kindom of God." Jesus went through a great harship for us on the cross. Paul in a letter to Timothy wrote (2Timothy 1:3) "I thank God, whom I serve, as my forefathers did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers." In 1 Thess 5: 12-16 "Now we ask you, brother, to respect those who work hard among you, who are over you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other. And we urge you, brothers, warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone. Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everone else. Be joyful always pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." In Jesus Name |
Bible Answer: Yes.. often I am reminded that one of the biggest ways Satan does his work is through the old "divide and conquer" methodology. Contrast that to the times in Scripture where the believers were all in prayer and one accord, and see what happened next! God Bless and thanks for this post! |
