Subject: Ask for a cold, and ye shall receive it? |
Bible Note: Scripture says if two agree in prayer they shall receive whatever they have asked. Right? I have also found (and I realize maybe you skeptics haven't ran across this), the devil can grant you what you want by agreeing on something also. Does anyone out there refute the idea that Satan is the god of this world? A good friend and I were talking one day and he mentioned the fact the everytime he gets in the shower he has to wear ear plugs because when he gets water in his left ear, invariably a fungus infection follows. He asked me, "Do you know what I mean?" I said, "Yes!" We both agreed that water in your left ear would cause a fungus. I agreed with him. Understand! We both agreed that this would happen. Know what? If I get water in MY LEFT EAR I get a fungus infection. Now, I'm not a scholar or a theologian, and I don't have to have a house fall on me to know well enough that the god of this world has some power. But, I also know that Jesus said, "I will protect you if you will believe in me and my Word; and I have 22 pages of healing scriptures in my files that say God wants me healed. It also says to ask and you shall receive. Either by my God or by the god of this world. The Word says ask and you shall receive. It does not say this only pertains to the good things of this world.
