Bible Note: Now, good Pastor Floyd, why don't you go back to my queston (#90749) and actually ANSWER it? In the "answer" you gave, you played the part of the dodger -- and not a very artful dodger at that -- and evaded the question. What I wanted to know, and still do, is where does the Bible say anything about "releasing" faith, and where does it say anything about having what we want in this world? Pastor Floyd, what is the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ? Why did God send His Son into the world, why did God give His Son to die on the cross? Was it so that man can have robust physical health and material prosperity? Or was it for some other reason, like forgiveness of sins, for instance? Please answer these questions and support your answers with Scripture. If you wish any Bible-believing follower of Christ to believe anything you have said, you are under obligation to prove your statements by submitting clear evidence that your beliefs are in accord with what the word of God teaches. Otherwise, your ideas are not worth a cup of warmed-over spit to a follower of Christ. --Hank |
