Bible Note: Graceful Please answer these two questions. If what you say "By the same token if God says we don't have to be sick or poor, then we have the chance, based upon our faith to be just the opposite" is true why; Question 1. Why did Paul have to travel and preach sick and also was unable to completely cure Timothy Stomach problems? 2 Cor. 11:30 If I must boast, I will boast in the things which concern my infirmity. 2 Cor. 12:5 Of such a one I will boast; yet of myself I will not boast, except in my infirmities. 2 Cor. 12:9-10 And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. [10] Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. Galatians 4:13 You know that because of physical infirmity I preached the gospel to you at the first. 1 Tim. 5:23 No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for your stomach's sake and your frequent infirmities. Question 2. Why did Paul take up offerings to help those in Jerusalem instead of telling them they needed the faith and God would take the money from the unrighteous and give to the righteous? Acts 11:29-30 Then the disciples, each according to his ability, determined to send relief to the brethren dwelling in Judea. [30] This they also did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul. I would like to see your scriptural answers to these questions, not scripture that point to things you claim but where God said healing was for everyone except Paul and Timothy. And that if the people of Jerusalem didn’t have enough faith so Paul had to go collect what you said would come to them in faith. If you can’t then would you be honest enough to admit it and then stop posting this WOF trash on the forum.. EdB |
