Subject: Is "slain in the Spirit" biblical? |
Bible Note: Hello Gracefull, I would like to add one thing about people receiving their healings. Most of the healings that Jesus did through the Holy Spirit were to prove that God had sent him, or that he had the power to forgive sins. Most of Christ healing miracles were done so that unbeleivers would beleive. Everything Christ did was to give glory to God. Even his death. So even in our sicknesses and infirmities I belive that we should search the greater good. Which is to glorify God in it. If it is our faith that moves God to heal us, then I beleive that we should not ask for God to heal us for our selfish reasons, but rather to bring glory to God. So if a person wants a miricle I beleive that they should be bold enough to receive this miricle that others may be converted to Christ through this. I know that this is not manditory for God to do healings and miricles. But I think that this was the reason that Christ prayers were answered. MaTT |
