Bible Note: Greetings Randy, Yes, I believe that sanctification is part of our overall salvation, and I believe that sanctification is not finished until we are in the presence of the Lord. However, I disagree with you when you say that "we ARE saved daily!".. Are you saying that we are to be born again and again and again and again??? I believe that all of the Scripture that you have quoted are excellent references to the believer's responsibility to be actively in pursuit of obedience to Christ in the process of sanctification. And you have most graciously included some of the characteristics that we must "model after" while pursuing the obedience of Christ. :-) Also, you have left one of those references out.. Luke 9:23 "Then He said to them all, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me." [NKJV] But if you are saying that "we ARE saved daily!" and contending that we re-crucify Christ (Heb. 6:6) each and every day, then I believe that you are in error here. Blessings to you, Nolan |
