Bible Question (short): What is salvation? |
Question (full): Friends and colleagues, What is salvation? There are several aspects of salvation, what are they? I can name a few: Quickening of the Holy Spirit Repentance Justification Redemption Sanctification Conversion Regeneration Renewal Revival Restoration Eternal Judgment Resurrection I think there are more. (some may say less! :-)) How we line these things up, what we add, what we delete are how we view our relationship with God, and seem to be the root of our differences. Some may want to 'forget our differences and focus on our similarities,' but I think there is unity in fellowship and sharing of knowledge, not in ignorance or cognitive dissonance. :-) Blessings in Christ Jesus, charis |
