Here's a good example: "So Acts 2 tells what happened to those in the upper room, not what THEY were doing". Acts 2 does tell us WHAT they were doing. They were in one accord. That's what they doing. One accord means agreement. If you had any senses about you you would understand that they were praying, worshipping and generally waiting on the Lord as He instructed them to do. It's called "tarrying". That's the sort of thing one does when waiting on the Lord. Maybe you don't do that at your church. Maybe that's the problem with the church in general, today. You probably praise Him in silence. Is the what you do? And you say you have the gift of what? discernment? One needs understanding for that gift to be effective. |
